Sample Schedule

Deliver the ExperienceDuring a retreat weekend you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. From fishing, art, dramatic play, magic shows, hiking, swimming, archery, rock wall climbing there is something for everyone. You can try something new or sit back and just enjoy the scenery.

  • Thursday
Check-in day! You will be greeted by the staff, volunteers and our friendly Hope the Bear! Be sure not to miss the tour around the facility and the sit down dinner with your family. We will get to know each other better and get ready for the fun which lies ahead.
  • Friday
Let's get creative and have some fun! Fishing bright and early and a journey through ArtWorld. In the afternoon you will head outdoors to go on a scavenger hunt, climb a rock wall or just sit around and eat a delicious sweet treat. Activities are designed with your family in mind from the smallest kids to the biggest adults. Our goal is to have fun.
  • Saturday
Group Discussion Day! This day is set aside for families to talk to medical staff and gain support from other families. From youth, teens to adults these groups are designed to address issues with your family in mind. In the afternoon, parents get some much needed free time while kids participate in a one-of-a-kind art activity. Get geared up for the evening activity full of fun and surprises.
  • Sunday
Until we meet again! It is time to say goodbye but not before we have our special closing ceremony. Families will take part in a memory project so that everyone can remember the fun time we each shared at the Deliver the Dream Retreat.
