Event Overview
On Saturday, November 1, 2008 the 5th Annual Denim and Diamonds Gala will be held at the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa. The event, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, entertainment, dinner and dancing.
On this spectacular night, more than 500 attendees comprised of corporate and medical sponsors, as well as community and business leaders will don their best denim paired with formal attire while celebrating the Strength, Hope, and Renewal that families facing illness or crisis experience through Deliver the Dream’s Family Retreat Program. All proceeds from the event go directly toward funding Deliver the Dream’s specialized retreats serving families facing cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, autism, HIV, Cerebral Palsy, and other life changing medical issues.
Entertainment for the evening will include the magic and comedy of Stephen Bargatze and the South Florida dance band, Gypsy Lane.
A raffle will also be held for a chance to win a Radio Flyer wagon full of prizes, including an Apple iPod, Nintendo Wii and a $1,000 gas card. Tickets will be sold for $50.
Denim and Diamonds will be an unforgettable evening of glitter, glamour, laughter and dancing. Tickets are $250 per person. Sponsorships start at $2,500.
