Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital celebrated its first retreat weekend with 13 families who have a child with sickle cell disease at the Westgate River Ranch in Lake Wales, Florida. It was a weekend of sharing, learning and fun for the entire family. Families journeyed through ArtWorld, got whisked away on an airboat, went horseback riding and even turned a little country at the rodeo. It truly was a retreat to remember!
