Deliver the Dream & Citrix Host 14-year old Musical Prodigy
Gabrielle Chou helps raise money for families in need.
(Boca Raton, Fla.) – Deliver the Dream (DTD), a South Florida-based non-profit that organizes retreats for families experiencing a serious illness or crisis, will host their first event of the year : “A Night of 88 Keys”. The recital, featuring 14-year old piano sensation Gabrielle Chou, will raise funds for DTD’s award-winning Family Retreat Program.
The event, sponsored by Citrix Systems, Inc., is scheduled for Thursday, February 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m at the Steinway Piano Gallery in Boca Raton. A cocktail reception will precede Gabrielle’s performance, which promises to amaze guests with her incredible talent. The recital will include pieces from some of the world’s most famous classical composers.
Gabrielle has been playing since she was five years old and to date has performed at Carnegie Hall, the KennedyCenter in WashingtonD.C., won numerous competitions, performed with several orchestras and is currently the concertmaster at the Florida Youth Orchestra. Her talent extends far beyond the ivory keys as an accomplished violinist and composer.
“We are incredibly honored to have the support of this fine young musician. Gabrielle’s talent provides an unbelievable musical experience for everyone in attendance,” said Paul Withrow, Deliver the Dream Executive Director. “In addition, by sharing her beautiful music, Deliver the Dream is able to raise the important resources to continue providing healing retreats to families in need.”
Proceeds from “A Night of 88 Keys” will benefit Deliver the Dream’s Family Retreat Programs. Tickets are $100 and seating is very limited. The Steinway Piano Gallery is located at 7940 N. Federal Highway in Boca Raton. Donations are tax deductible where allowable by law.
Deliver the Dream
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Deliver the Dream, a 501 (c)(3) was founded by former JM Family CEO Pat Moran. Since 2002, the organization has hosted retreats for more than 4,200 family members facing such challenges as Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, HIV, Down Syndrome and Autism.
